Hello!
My nickname in darknet is euclid46. I hacked this mailbox more than six months ago, through it I infected your operating system with a virus (trojan) created by me and have been monitoring you for a long time.
So, your password from [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) is ???????????????
Even if you changed the password after that - it does not matter, my virus intercepted all the caching data on your computer and automatically saved access for me.
I have access to all your accounts, social networks, email, browsing history. Accordingly, I have the data of all your contacts, files from your computer, photos and videos.
I was most struck by the intimate content sites that you occasionally visit. You have a very wild imagination, I tell you!
During your pastime and entertainment there, I took screenshot through the camera of your device, synchronizing with what you are watching. Oh my god! You are so funny and excited!
I think that you do not want all your contacts to get these files, right? If you are of the same opinion, then I think that $814 is quite a fair price to destroy the dirt I created.
Send the above amount on my BTC wallet (bitcoin): 1NXNt72qfMhPZDffUEqryCYpEUzyR6LmgH As soon as the above amount is received, I guarantee that the data will be deleted, I do not need it.
Otherwise, these files and history of visiting sites will get all your contacts from your device. Also, I'll send to everyone your contact access to your email and access logs, I have carefully saved it!
Since reading this letter you have 48 hours! After your reading this message, I'll receive an automatic notification that you have seen the letter.
I hope I taught you a good lesson. Do not be so nonchalant, please visit only to proven resources, and don't enter your passwords anywhere! Good luck!

Freaking out!!!

So today I received the below email. I don't know if its real or not. The thing that is freaking me out is the fact that the password mentioned is one that I have used recently, so it's not that old. I have only changed it a month ago. Should I worry..I'm freaking out!!

Arctis pro wireless surround sound 7.1 fix (solution) on PC Windows 10

Hi,
I've been struggling to enable the surround sound on my new SteelSeries arctis pro wireless headphones for the PC.
My search for a solution was fruitless until i did what I'm about to explain.
Note: All what i did is after downloading the SteelSeries engine.
1- in the arctis pro set up video, SteelSeries says go to sound and make (Arctis pro wireless chat) the default, CHANGE that to Arctis Pro Wireless Game. Set it to default.
2- right click on the Arctis Pro Wireless Game. Go to properties.
3- you will find a bar that says (spatial sound) click it.
4- change spatial sound format to (windows sonic for headphones), you will see it automatically enables 7.1 sound. Click ok.
The games i tested it on are:
-Overwatch -Rainbow six siege -CS:GO
Hope this solves your issue.
If you found this to be helpful please tell me ☺️

Strange email "Hack"

So I received a strange email today, at first I put it down to yet another naff attempt to swipe some cash for me and ignored it, however upon re-reading it, I was a tad concerned. It appeared to have been sent to me through my own email, so thought I'd ask someone more knowledgeable than me. The following is the text of the email:
Hello!
My nickname in darknet is neall52. I hacked this mailbox more than six months ago, through it I infected your operating system with a virus (trojan) created by me and have been monitoring you for a long time.
So, your password from "my_email" is "Old_Password"

I've replaced the email and password in the text, but you get the idea. The password is one I used to use, but isn't the one I use currently. I can't think of much the sender could have on me if he is telling the truth, other than perhaps some porn, which wouldn't be all that detrimental if it did get out, but I'd rather not have pictures of me playing with myself plastered on Facebook or the like if I can help it:p certainly not paying them! Just wondered if I'm going to have to be doing some damage control in a couple of days, or if I'm okay to relax?
Many thanks Keeva!

Apparently I was hacked, received an email from myself

I got a suspicious email saying I got hacked 6 months ago, it could be possible but I'm not sure. I know the email is trying to use blackmail into getting money but they've proven nothing.
The only thing that has scared me is they some how sent an email from my own email address to myself. Unless there's some way to spoof my email, how the hell did they do this?
This is the email:

Spam Email From My Own Account Which Includes a Password I Used To Use

I hope this is the right place to post this. I received an email (at the bottom of the post). It was received from my email address so I'm assuming there's obviously a way for scammers to do this that I'm not aware of? I received two identical copies of it, both from my address. The only differences were the darknet nicknames, "passwords" and amounts of money requested. So it couldn't possibly be more fake.
The thing that's bothering me is that the password they've provided in one of them is something I used to use as a password for this email account (although not for a very long time) and for other accounts online (shops and that sort of thing). The other copy of this email was not a password I've ever used. Is that something I should be worried about?? I don't want to have to try to remember every website I've ever made an account with and change my passwords everywhere but I also don't want to risk personal data if that is something I should concerned about. What do you guys think??

About Ethereum mining pitfalls, risks, and threats

Bitcoin miners are massively switching to Ethereum. According to 8btc estimates, the payback period for a Bitcoin miner is 600 days, while for the same metric on Ether it only takes 200 days. But this goodness won’t last forever. Read about what threatens the development of Ethereum below.
Hardware and Filling – Halfway to Success
Experienced folks advise taking the most productive video cards, for example, the latest models from Nvidia and AMD. When choosing, pay attention to the amount of video memory (ideally from 2 GB), memory speed (with DDR 5 memory), bus width (better with a 256-bit bus), and cooling (basically there’s no competition to Radeon devices). Take Radeon RX 570, this 169 USD card produces 24-30 Mh/s, which is superb.
The Illusion of Stability
The entire multi-million community of Ether lovers trembled in early August when the Ethereum Classic network was subjected to several 51% attacks at once. In addition, in the first half of 2020 alone, over 5 attacks were carried out on popular DeFi platforms, including Balancer ($500,000 stolen) and bZx (17,500 ETH were stolen in total). Moreover, cybercriminals do not always use technical vulnerabilities, sometimes good old social engineering works.
Reduction of Reward
Ethereum developers have proposed to reduce the block mining reward by 75%. ConsenSys Managing Director John Leelik published the EIP-2878 proposal aimed at reducing inflation and preserving purchasing power. If supported, the reward will drop to 0.5 ETH.
The transition of ETH to ETH 2.0 (PoS)
We already wrote about this in the article "Problems of Ethereum Mining", and you can also watch the interview by Peter McCormack with the project founder Vitalik Buterin.
While the opportunity is still there, we offer everyone to get the most out of it and mine profitably. For example, take a closer look at the new CoinFLy ETH Pool, that nowadays offers more rewards than others, at least by 10%.
Profit That is Not Profit
A hidden and obvious problem is choosing the pool based on its profitability. If you only have a few capacities, then it is better to choose a pool that uses the PPS+ model, if you’ve got a lot of them, then a powerful pool with PPLNS is better. And if you’ve got so many capacities that there’s even enough for others, then you can also go SOLO, buddy. More details - here.

Warning about Distillate Direct

UPDATE: I HAVE RECIEVED MY 25 REPLACEMENT CARTS. THEY REACHED OUT TO ME TO REPLACE THE 5 MISSING ONES.
Distillate Direct shipped an order to the wrong unit number, and then told me that Canada Post is wrong once I inquired. I contacted Canada Post and they confirmed the package was sent to a different unit. I'm posting this to warn people that they may send your package out to the wrong address and refuse to own up to it. I've been a repeat customer of theirs but once I sent them the transcript for the 2nd time they stopped replying. I'd also point out here that they still haven't updated their lab test results from Nov 2019 even though they said they would, I guess I had gotten to comfortable with purchasing off of them and forgot about the risk of using BM vendors. They have not done any of the things they said they would do in this post.
Please spend your money elsewhere, I am now out of $600 because of these shady people. They told me to contact Canada Post and then tell me that Canada Post is wrong. They will also NOT provide proof that they actually shipped to the correct unit number. As the sender they can also open a ticket with Canada Post and they will tell them exactly the same information they told me.
UPDATE: I sent them the transcript again and this was their reply. They have likely scammed me as they recently started accepting only bitcoin. This seems like prep for an exit scam. They take BTC only, once you've sent it they can send an empty box to the wrong address and claim that Canada Post is wrong. Notice how they have not even attempted to provide proof that "Canada Post is wrong."
UPDATE 2: I told them to open a ticket with Canada Post (as they are the sender) and they just replied with "Canada Post is wrong" again. These guys are not interested in trying to help me at all. They have not replied since.
UPDATE 3: They have since replied offering replacement carts + 5 extra carts. I will update this post once I receive them.
UPDATE 4: I have received 25 carts as a replacement (not the 30 they said, but atleast I got what I paid for. That's all I care about)
